	Enterprising Business Awards Handover HR has been successful in receiving one the 2008 WestFocus Enterprising Business Awards (EBA). These grants are presented to 10 businesses who wish to further develop their enterprise and add value to their business through a proven program of expert support. The programme, worth a total of £2500 takes place over 6 months and will provide businesses with the opportunity to diagnose and resolve challenges with like-minded entrepreneurs and experts.

	Business Excellence Awards Handover HR have been 'highly commended' by this years 'The News' Business excellence awards. Sponsored by Business Link the judges confessed to having a difficult task this year in selecting the winners from an original list of 118 entries. Editor of The News Mark Waldron said "it was refreshing to see so many new entrants. It was proof that the region's economy was in good health and was extremely vibrant." 'We had so many entries – and of such high quality – that the judges honestly faced a difficult and tough, but pleasurable, task." The prestigious award is aimed at reflecting the sheer variety of economic activity that goes on throughout the city and surrounding area.
